Additionally, PAE enhances artistic programming, technical knowledge, and leadership skills through professional seminaras, workshops and events.
Rich Boyd, Executive Director of the Tennessee Arts Commission, is chair of the 2005 PAE Advisory Committee. Theresa Colvin, Executive Director of the Maryland State Arts Council, is vice-chair.
This is the first time the PAE has been held in Memphis — the city where the world first met the Blues and Rock 'n Roll — the home of B.B. King and Elvis, real pit barbecue and Beale Street, where Gospel met Soul, the Mississippi meets its Delta, and where history meets legend. Get out your blue suede shoes and get ready for a Rock 'n Roll Pilgrimage.
Conferees will stay at the Memphis Marriott Downtown connected to the Memphis Cook Convention Center.
