Arts Alliance & Art Guild at Bristol's Border Bash Concerts09.16.2005
Members of Arts Alliance Mountain Empire (AAME) had a lot of fun meeting and greeting people at Border Bash in July, August and September in downtown Bristol. The event is held during summer months from 5-8 p.m. in the 500 block of State Street. Music is provided by local and regional bands.
Featured each month was an information booth about the Arts Alliance, publisher of A! Magazine for the Arts and — hot off the press — a new regional tourism brochure, Our Cultural Crossroads, focusing on fine arts and performing arts, as well as historic and natural resources.
Also featured was artwork by members of the Bristol Art Guild — and an opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping!
Shown hanging artwork are Kitty Williams, left, and Lorene Lowe.
Joyce Kistner illustrated a children's book.
