• DEC. 5 & 6:Christmas at the Carter Mansionis held at Sycamore Shoals State Historic Area, Elizabethton, Tenn. Visit historic interpreters as they share the traditions and customs of a colonial American Christmas. Runs from 6-8 p.m. with tours starting every 20 minutes.
