• MARCH 1-28: William King Museum of Art, Abingdon, Va., holds its Gnome a Home fundraiser. Have a friend’s yard filled with gnomes for a donation to the museum. Gnomes visit for two days before moving to a new destination. $25 to gnome a home (no apartment complexes), $50 to gnome a business (no public property); $30 anti-gnoming insurance; $10 to remain anonymous.
