Johnson City Public Library reopening with limited hours and services

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Johnson City Public Library begins a phased reopening to the public Monday, April 19 with limited hours and services.

Library hours are Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Curbside pickup continues during those same hours.

The library is open for people to browse the shelves and check out materials. Computers are also be available for 20-minute sessions. Based on CDC guidelines, masks are required while in the building.

Toys, games, and seating areas are not available until further notice, and all events continue to be online.

The Friends of the Library host an expanded, ongoing book sale in the library’s Polly Peterson Room. However, book and media donations are not accepted.
