BIG STONE GAP, VA. — The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park hosts a September Lunch on the Lawn music program Friday, Sept. 25 at 12 p.m., featuring The General Store Jammers.

The General Store Jammers love to play mountain music of all kinds from old-time fiddle tunes, bluegrass, original songs, country classics or even traditional gospel hymns. Members of the General Store Jammers are Les Bailey on bass, Larry Mullins strums guitar, Joey O’Quinn picks banjo, Dawn plays fiddle and Roger plays mandolin. Other musicians often join in on the fun as well.

The September "Lunch on the Lawn" event is free and open to the public. Visitors may bring their own lunch, or purchase lunch from GetFed Food Truck.

Participants are required to social distance between those not in the same household. Face coverings are required if you enter the museum for any reason during your visit. In case of inclement weather the event will be canceled.
