About the Gallery
Appalachian Spirit Gallery holds artwalk events featuring special art exhibits, music concerts and reception food on the Second Friday of each month from May through December. Artwalk events are held from 5-8 p.m. with music beginning at 6 p.m.
They host a“Christmas Music in the Parlor” concert to complement theDec. 9, Second Friday ArtWalk reception and annual holiday sale to be held from 5-8 p.m.
The Spirit Railroad Museum (model railroad exhibits) in the lower level of the gallery will be open during ArtWalk hours showcasing their special Christmas train layout along with many other great train layouts for kids young and old.
Work on display by member artists include paintings ranging from traditional to abstract, landscapes to landmarks executed in oils, watercolor, acrylics, alcohol inks and mixed media. Other works include jewelry,marquetry and turned wood items, quilts and fabric art, scarves, ornaments,photography, baskets and more.
View the art, grab a Christmas cookie, listen to music and sing along with friends and do some Christmas shopping at this annual sale. Pick up a free 2023 calendar and let your kids select a free painted rock to take home with them.
