KINGSPORT, TN -- On Thursday evening, Sept. 24, 2009, visitors to downtown Kingsport picked up an Arts Crawl Passport at the historic State Theatre to begin a trip through the arts. The passport included a list of, and directions to, participating art galleries.
Participating venues include Cindy Saadeh Fine Art Studio, Ripper Arts Studio and Gallery, The Gallery of Local Artists, Downtown Kingsport Association Gallery, Suzanne Barrett Justis Gallery, Up Against the Wall Gallery, and The Banq.
While visiting the galleries, passport holders were invited to sample hors d'oeuvres created by downtown restaurants while sipping on wine from a souvenir glass. Restaurants included Stir Fry Cafe, Bone Fire Smokehouse, Café N'Orleans, Divine Cafe & Catering, Kaffé Blue, Kingsport Grocery Company, and Rose Cottage Bakery.
