ROANOKE, Va. -- Miss Mountain Empire 2007 Hannah Martine Kiefer won the Miss Virginia 2007 pageant held at the Roanoke Civic Center on Saturday, June 30, 2007.
Kiefer won the preliminary title, Miss Mountain Empire, on Feb. 24, 2007 at the historic Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Va. She won both swimsuit and talent preliminaries to be a double preliminary winner before winning the Miss Virginia crown. She won the preliminary talent competition with a Ballet En Pointe to "Western Symphony."
A native of High Point, N.C., Kiefer is a student at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va., where she is studying Communications and Psychology. She is now preparing to compete in the Miss America competition which will be held in January 2008.
