Bloom Café and Listening Room is Bristol’s newest live music venue. The inviting, eclectic café is located at 606 State Street, Bristol, Tennessee.
They have a free open mic night the first Wednesday of every month. They host live music on Fridays and Saturdays with a $5-10 cover charge.
The listening room hosts a mixture of local and regional bands of all genres. Emily Fehr, owner, says they chose to offer music because, “Bristol some venues cater to a very specific genre. We have had everything from rap to oldtime music. Variety is key.â€
Each month they exhibit a different artist’s work. Open mic night includes everything from spoken word to poetry to music.
The venue also hosts other events, such as trivia nights, board game groups and more.
The café sells food, beer, cider, smoothies and coffee-related drinks. The menu includes soups, salads, paninis, sandwiches and snacks. They also serve breakfast. They are open Monday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The venue is handicapped accessible and has a handicapped restroom.
