JOHNSON CITY, TN– The ETSU Martin Center for the Artsannounces its highly anticipated 2025–2026 Broadway Season, presented by Bank of Tennessee. This fourth season promises an unforgettable lineup of Broadway’s best.
The 2025–2026 Broadway Season features four shows including Meredith Willson’s "The Music Man," "TINA-The Tina Turner Musical," "Shucked"and "SIX." Audiences can also look forward to two special performances, the 2025 Encore show, "ELF The Musical" and the 2026 add-on show, "Riverdance 30 – The New Generation."
Launching the new year in style, Meredith Willson’s "The Music Man" marches onto the stage Jan. 26–28. This Tony Award-winningmusical comedy follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. Get ready to experience the unstoppable energy of a music legend when "TINA – The Tina Turner Musical," sponsored by Food City, lights up the stage for three performances Feb. 28–March 1, 2026. "TINA – The Tina Turner Musical"is the triumphant story of the Queen of Rock and Roll set to the pulse-pounding soundtrack of her most beloved hits."TINA–The Tina Turner Musical" presents Tina’s journey against all odds to become one of the world’s most beloved artists of all time. Featuring her much loved songs,the musical is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall.
The Tony Award–winning new musical comedy "Shucked,sponsored by Bravissima! Women Sponsoring the Arts, will take the stage May 5–7, delivering laughter, heartand plenty of corn-fed fun. Hailed as Broadway’s funniest new musical, "Shucked"is a laugh-out-loud love letter to family, farmingand the heartland. With a fresh, witty score by Grammywinners Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, this “corn-fed comedy” is a feel-good night of joy and music.
The international smash hit "SIX," sponsored by Tri-Cities Airport, will reign over the ETSU Martin CenterMay 26–28. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, theSIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix 500 years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st century girl power. This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over.
The Martin Center is unwrapping a holiday treat with the 2025 Encore show, "ELF The Musical." This fresh-from-Broadway production will spread holiday cheer and big laughs for audiences of all ages during two performances only, Nov.3–4, sponsored by East Tennessee Insurance.
