In “Here: The (Improvised) Musical,” the players get one suggestion to inspire the theme through an opening number, create characters and story lines inspired by the theme, and weave the strings together to create one piece. Not one bar of music has been pre-conceived before the show begins.
“Here: The (Improvised) Musical” is one of Chicago’s most lauded shows and one of the most celebrated shows globally in the artform. “Here” is known for notable residencies in two theaters in the states: iO Chicago in Illinois, and The Nest Theatre in Columbus, Ohio.
