
The Johnson County Junior Appalachian Musicians program ended its fall session with its Old-Fashioned Appalachian Christmas event at the First Christians Life Center in downtown Mountain City, Tennessee.
The event and fundraiser featured performances by JAM kids and their instructors, a dessert auction, a cake walk,and a performance by acclaimed bluegrass band Appalachian Trail.
JAM is a program that teaches traditional Appalachian music to school-age children. The spring session will begin in February. Visit the Johnson County Junior Appalachian Musicians Facebook page for more information.
