JONESBOROUGH, TN - The Historic Jonesborough Bluegrass Series 2013 season kicked off Saturday, Feb. 9, with performances by Buncombe Turnpike, Larry Efaw and Bluegrass Mountaineers.
Mountain Drive, Jerry Butler and the Blu-Js and Leroy Troy are scheduled to perform July 13, and The Rigney's, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice and the Lonesome River Band will play Oct. 19. Doors open at 6 p.m. and shows start at 7 p.m.

Season tickets are $50 per person, and single show ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under and $10 for ETSU students (with valid ID). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc.
The Historic Jonesborough Bluegrass Series is an annual concert series that features a variety of bluegrass and acoustic musicians. Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice are the official ambassadors of the event.
