The seventh annual Fine Art in the Park was held in Jonesborough at the International Storytelling Center. The event hosted more than 2,000 people over the two day period, as nearly 40 handpicked fine artisans showcased their talents.
Presented by the McKinney Center, the exhibition included sculpture, pottery, oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, photography, hand-made furniture, jewelry and more. Artists were on location both indoors and outdoors with their art, to talk to visitors about their various techniques, as well as to display and sell their work. Each day featured special tasting sessions including Chocolate Elegance, Jabo Joe's Coffee and Olive Oil Divine.
Awards for Best in Show and Best in Tasting, as well as second and third place were given to artists whose work was chosen by a select panel of judges in a reception at the end of the event on Sunday, Oct. 25.
