Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee announced growth of both print and eBook sales for the year 2019.
“We are thrilled to announce growth over the last year. We saw an increase in our book publishing and in our revenue from book sales, both in print and in eBooks. JCP is a small publisher representing local authors to international authors. We exceeded our goals for 2018 and 2019, and now have our 2020 vision on meeting or exceeding new goals,” says Janie Jessee, publisher
Jan-Carol Publishing purchased a small press in 2012 and another one in 2013. With those 60 titles, JCP has grown to over 300 titles, with other manuscripts in production. In 2019, JCP added several imprints and a multitude of new authors. In addition to the authors who joined JCP, the company continues to be grateful for its returning authors, several of whom have published 10 or more books with Jan-Carol Publishing.
“Our 2020 vision includes production of audio books and retail marketing accessories for our books. This will include music, t-shirts, coffee mugs and other promotional items that will capture the book’s theme. With our first audio book in production and our accessories in progress, we are positioned for new potential growth for 2020,” Jessee confirmed. “We already have an author who has a musical CD prepared for the screenplay written of her book. It is so exciting to see this movement and unlimited opportunities for our authors in 2020.”
Jan-Carol Publishing’s different imprints each specialize in a particular genre. JCP bookshelves include fiction, science-fiction, self-help, cozy mysteries, romance, historical fiction, children’s books, and more. From Appalachian themed stories, with the imprint of Mountain Girl Press, to children’s books under the imprint Skippy Creek, JCP continues grow. “At JCP, we believe ‘every story needs a book.’”
