Mistletoe Market is held in Abingdon Nov. 6-8.
Mistletoe Market, an annual fundraiser for William King Museum of Art, is back for its 27th year, Nov. 6-8 at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia. This event is an opportunity to shop local, take photos with Santa and spend time with family and friends.
Vendors at Mistletoe Market always offer something unique for shoppers, including hand-crafted clothing, one-of-a-kind jewelry, holiday gift items and fine art. Shopper favorites like Dreamland Alpacas, Fetching Apparel, Stanley’s Produce and Bakery and LaCigale will be back this year. Savory Spice Mama, Uniquely Appalachian and Go Go Jo Coffee food trucks will be on site. There are also performances from Southern Appalachian Dance Collective throughout the day on Saturday.
As always, Santa visits on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and WKMA’s Youth Education Department has crafts for kids.
In conjunction with Mistletoe Market, the Abingdon Wolf Auction takes place at the Martha Washington Inn Nov. 7. All 20 wolves from the Abingdon Wolf Project, a fundraising collaboration between WKMA and the Town of Abingdon, are auctioned. Drinks start at 6 p.m. and the auction begins at 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the artists and William King Museum of Art.
Hours are Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Santa is at the market from 12-4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Mistletoe Market and auction tickets are for sale online through Nov. 4 and in-person during the event. Single day market tickets available in-person only. Visit williamkingmuseum.org for more information.
