Cheap Trick performs at Niswonger Performing Arts Center, Sept. 29.
The Niswonger Performing Arts Center in historic downtown Greeneville, Tennessee, announces another season of entertainment featuring 30 performances for the 2016-2017 season.
Since opening in December 2004, NPAC has hosted hundreds of concerts and events in the 1,150 seat venue.
"NPAC offers an outstanding selection of entertainment options with a variety of musical artists and performances scheduled for the 2016-2017 season, which kicks off Aug. 27 with Three Dog Night," said Vicki Hudson, executive director of NPAC.
Three Dog Night performs Aug. 27. September artists are Peabo Bryson (Sept. 17) and Cheap Trick (Sept. 29). October features Scotty McCreery (Oct. 1), Sawyer Brown (Oct. 8), The Temptations (Oct. 13), The Jason Bishop Show (Oct. 22), ZZ Top (Oct. 28) and The Earth Shaker Tour (Oct, 30). Shanghai Nights (Nov. 1), Travis Tritt (Nov. 12) and Brian Culbertson (Nov. 19) perform in November. December features Home Free "A Country Christmas" (Dec. 10), A Christmas Carol (Dec. 16) and Natalie Grant and Donny Gokey (Dec. 17).
January begins with Moon Mouse A Space Odyssey (Jan. 13) and Henry Cho (Jan. 28). Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana (Feb. 7), Annie Moses Band (Feb. 17) and Rhonda Vincent and The Rage (Feb. 25) perform in February. March performers are "1964 ... The Tribute" (March 4), The Russian National Ballet: Swan Lake (March 7), Tommy Emmanuel (March 11), Chloe Agnew and Atlanta Pops Orchestra (March 17). April offers Brown Bear, Brown Bear and other Treasured Stories (April 1), Clint Blank (April 2) and The Gibson Brothers (April 8). The season ends in May with Jann Hanna (May 7), Chonda Pierce (May 12) and the Marshall Tucker Band (May 20).
