The Sullivan County Tennessee School System, led by Chuck Carter, director of schools, holds an annual Christmas Card Art Contest for its students.
The winning designs are used as the system’s holiday card and sent to their Christmas list.
Central office staff judges the entries. The winners are recognized at the December board meeting and receive a copy of the card, a matted print of their artwork and a small prize.
This year’s winners are Annabella Woods, a fifth-grader at Holston Elementary; Amelia Green, a sixth-grader from Sullivan Central Middle and Elly Bowen, a ninth-grader from West Ridge High School.
