Tanya Tucker, Del McCoury Bandand Asleep at the Wheel are among the second round of lineup additions headlining the 2022Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunionmusic festival, which takes placeSept. 9-11inhistoric downtown Bristol, Virginia-Tennessee. Willie Watson, Nicki Bluhm and Miko Marks are also part of the latest rollout of artists announced.
"Tanya very much wanted to be here last year, but was unable to join us due to travel issues," said Leah Ross, executive director of advancement for theBirthplace of Country Music, the parent nonprofit of the festival, theBirthplace of Country Music Museum, andWBCM Radio Bristol. "It's serendipitous that she'll perform in Bristol as we celebrate the 95th anniversary of the 1927 Bristol Sessions and the same year as Rosanne Cash, another iconic figure in country music."
Rosanne Cash, JJ Grey & Mofro, Briston Maroney and Katie Pruitt were among the artists announced in January. More of the lineup isrevealed late March.

Additional highlights of the festival, with the price of admission, is a special exhibit at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum,1968Folsom Prison Redemption that honors "The Man in Black," Johnny Cash.
BCM plans to release additional Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion festival artists at the end of each month through April, anticipating approximately 100 acts to gather and share their music and creative energy.
