The Crooked Road featured in New York, Roanoke Newspapers

ABINGDON, VA - The Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail and our region's musical heritage was featured in a full three-page article in the New York Times on Sunday, May 22, 2011.

"(The very next day) we received our first call from a New Yorker who had just read the New York Times article, wanting more information on coming to visit The Crooked Road region," says Jack Hinshelwood, Executive Director of The Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail.
