Theatre Bristol announces Aug. 25-27 auditions for “A Christmas Carol,” to be performed in November and December and directed by Glenn Patterson. Roles are available for men, women, teens and children.
Readings are provided. Be sure to bring a calendar to list conflicts. No conflicts are permitted for tech week or performances. Due to the quantity of performances (four days a week for five weeks), some roles may be double cast or have understudies or standbys.
Audition times are Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m., Aug 26 at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 2:30 p.m. Those wishing to audition are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
Callbacks are Sept. 2 and 5, as needed. Rehearsals begin Oct. 2 and are Sundays at 2:30 p.m., and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. Tech week is Nov. 12-15 and performances run Thursday (except Thanksgiving Day), Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons Nov. 16 – Dec. 17. No conflicts are permitted for tech week or the performances. There are mandatory pickup rehearsals Tuesday, Nov. 21 and 28, and Dec. 5 and 12 in the evening. Morning school shows on a weekday or two are a possibility.
