Theatre Bristol On Air presents classic rags-to-riches fairytale "Cinderella"

Theatre Bristol is “Keeping Drama On-and Off-Stage” with the Theatre Bristol On Air production “Cinderella,” featuring a fairytale cast under the direction of Camille Gray.

The #TBKDOS Series launched with Theatre Bristol On Air, a radio drama throw-back to Theatre Bristol’s days of “Don’t Touch That Dial.” Theatre Bristol On Air’s production of “Cinderella’’ airs on radio 89.5 WETS Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. After the airing, join the cast for a live talkback on Zoom; details can be found at www.TheatreBristol.org. Throughout September, the program is available free of charge on various podcast services and the Theatre Bristol website. Donations are appreciated.

A tale that never grows old, Cinderella, her fairy godmother, stepmother and sisters, and animal friends delight in this classic. Gather your family, friends, and imagination and listen together.

The cast is made up of long-time veterans and some new-to-Theatre Bristol performers, including Tayler Bolling as Cinderella, Luke Gray as the Prince, Maxine Poole as the Fairy Godmother and the Duchess of Saxony, Lynn Hiester as the Stepmother, Abigail Haagen as Hildegrunge, Tina Badham as Mildreck, Addison Lowe as Harper, AzLeigh Cunningham as Charli, Michael Malloy as Minister and the Soldier, Brant Burgiss as Mr. Levois and the King, Amy Reid as Mrs. Levois and the Duchess of Bolonga, Robert McCrary as the Duke of Bolonga and the Herald, Lucy Claire Foy as Young Cinderella, Andrew Hunt as Grandpa, and Amber Miller as Janey. Camille Gray debuts as a Theatre Bristol On Air director. This Brian Rousseau adaptation blends Charles Perrault and the Grimm Brothers’ versions of “Cinderella.”
