Tri-Cities Talent wins dance competition

Tri-Cities Talent's competition dance team won first place honors at Star Talent Dance Competition in Knoxville, Tenn. Star Talent is a national competition whose judges include the top professional dancers in the U.S.

Approximately 1,000 dancers competed at this regional event. Abigail Fisher, Molly Cannon and Addyson Fisher won first place for the Petite Division for their hip hop trio "Shake it Up;" Victoria Forbes won first place in the Petite Solo Division for her jazz routine "Call Me Maybe;" Hailey Fish won first place in the Junior Jazz Division for "Crank It Up;" and Karli Goff won first place in the Junior Hip Hop Division for "When the Saints Go Marching." Goff also won eighth place overall high score from all the Junior competitors.

As regional winners, these dancers are qualified to compete at the National Finals at Myrtle Beach in July.

Tri-Cities Talent, based in Kingsport, Tenn., offers classes through the Tri-Cities.
