Hubba Hubba takes to the stage

February 14, 2025   |   7 pm @ Mountain Empire Community College

From the Jim Henson Foundation grant award-winning Alex and Olmsted comes “Hubba Hubba,” a new show about romantic love that Broadway World calls, “...equal parts awkwardness and side-splitting laughter.” Using puppetry and physical comedy, from the sublime to the ridiculous, Alex and Olmsted present love and all its quirks this Valentine’s Day.

Alex and Olmsted perform “Hubba Hubba” at 7 p.m.,Friday, Feb. 14in the Goodloe Center at Mountain Empire Community College in conjunction with Pro-Art’s 48th season. Tickets are $15 at the door. Alex and Olmsted is an internationally acclaimed puppet theater and filmmaking company based in Baltimore. “Hubba Hubba” is devisedby Alex Vernon and Sarah Olmsted Thomas with lighting by Tori Muñoz.
