Jason Flack exhibit opens

William King Museum of Art, Abingdon, Virginia,hosts "FLACK ATTACK! The Appalachian Battery,"a solo exhibition for artist, speaker, community leader, Jason "Jay" Flack from July 18through Jan. 19, 2025.

This solo exhibition features the work of Johnson City, Tennessee,artist Jason “Jay” Flack. Flack's work is characterized by his bold use of color, illustrative designsand expressionist energy. Flack is an urban folk painter, motivational speakerand an educator who is committed to bringing communities together through the power of art and story sharing. This retrospective exhibition showcases his influences, from adolescence to his most recent works of art.

With all the life and vigor of a modern day Appalachian battery, Flack is one of the most beloved, contemporary, neo-Appalachian artists of today.
