Jazz concerts set for this week

The ETSU Contemporary Collective and ETSU Jazz Ensemble perform for a special concert featuring pianist Jeremy Siskind. In addition to performing with the Contemporary Collective, Siskind will be joined on a solo set by student and faculty guests. The concert concludes with the premiere of ETSU Professor of Music Composition Neal Endicott's new Concerto for Piano and Big Band, "Janus Triptych." The concert takes place in the Martin Center for the Arts Powell Recital Hall Wednesday, Dec. 6at 7:30 p.m.. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The ETSU Jazz Ensemble performs their holiday concert "Jingle Bell Jazz" Friday, Dec. 8at 7:30 p.m. at the Martin Center. Featuresjazzy arrangements of all your favorite tunes along with guest artist Jeremy Siskind sitting in on piano.

The Diamonds(vocal jazz) perform at Bonefire Restaurant, Abingdon, Virginia, Dec. 11 from 6-8:30 p.m. The group is comprised of Glenn Diamond, bass; Morissa diamond, keyboard; Eddie Dalton, drums; and Sloan Hill, trumpet and flugelhorn.
