• SEPT. 24-28:Storytelling Live is held at the International Storytelling Center, Jonesborough, Tenn. Matinee performances are at 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. This week’s featured storyteller isLaura Simms.Simms is an award-winning storyteller who performs, teaches and conducts projects worldwide. She combines traditional stories with personal narratives. Simms has performed worldwide in venues that include the Lincoln Center and the Belfast International Theater Festival.
