The Kingsport Art Guild presents "Oil & Water," an exhibition featuring the work of artistsDonna BirdandJoe Zoeller, on view in theMain Gallery of the Renaissance Center from July 7 through Aug.17.
Bird and Zoeller are both longtime members andformer presidents of the Kingsport Art Guild, having devoted years of leadership and service to fostering the visual arts in the Kingsport community. Their shared commitment to artistic excellence and arts advocacy is reflected in this special exhibition, which brings together a collection of paintings showcasing each artist's distinctive style.
Working in traditional oil, Bird is known for her expressive portraits, landscapesand still lifes that celebrate beauty, memoryand everyday moments. Zoeller, an accomplished acrylic painter, brings his own perspective through bold color, expressive brushworkand compelling compositions. Together, "Oil & Water" offers visitors an opportunity to experience two artistic voices united by a lifelong passion for painting and a lasting friendship.
The public is invited to anopening reception Saturday, July 18, from 4:30 to 6p.m.at the Renaissance Center. Guests will have the opportunity to meet both artists, enjoy refreshmentsand explore the exhibition.
The exhibition is on view in theMain Galleryat the Renaissance Center,Kingsport, Tennessee. Gallery hours areMonday through Saturday, 9a.m. to 9p.m.Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to visit throughout the exhibition.
