Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park offers September Artisan Series

BIG STONE GAP, VA. — The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park continues its 2021 Artisan Series of programs with the September Fall Flower Arrangement workshop. The workshop is held Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the museum’s Victorian Garden.


Participants who register for the Fall Flower Arrangement Workshop participate in a two-hour class and learn basic flower arrangement techniques. Once complete, participants take their own original flower arrangement home.

The fee for the Fall Flower Arrangement workshop is $20 per person. All supplies and materials are included. Spaces are limited, so register early.

The park will comply with the state Covid 19 regulations in place at the time the program is offered. Those that are unvaccinated are to wear masks inside state owned facilitiesThe Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park’s Artisan Series offers another artisan project on the third Tuesday of November, providing visitors with opportunities to create handmade crafts with regional artisans.
