BIG STONE GAP, Va.-The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park hosts its next “Lunch on the Lawn” summer music series Sunday, Aug.4, from 2 to 3 p.m., featuring Stephen Murray.
Stephen Murray is a Canadian born singer songwriter residing in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. His songs reflect upon his journey through recovery from addiction, love, loss, betrayal and finding oneself in the second half of life. He is the first place recipient of the songwriter's contest at The Gathering in the Gap 2023.
Park staff and volunteers will have crafts and activities for children at each “Lunch on the Lawn” program. So, bring the whole family out, have some fun in the beautiful Victorian Garden and enjoy an afternoon of home-grown music and entertainment on thelawn of the museum.
The “Lunch on the Lawn” event is free and open to the public. Participants should bring their lunch.
