Kingsport– In pre-historic times, strange creatures walked our planet. They were the ancient ancestors of the instruments we see in the orchestra today.
Take a journey with Symphony of the Mountains into “When Instruments Roamed the Earth!®” beginning May 8 at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Bristol, Tennessee. The performances are filled with laughs, surprises, multi-media projection and on-stage action — the perfect all-ages introduction to the exciting sounds, peopleand experience of a symphony orchestra concert.
Hear and see the hilarious “research” of paleo-musicologist, Sir Humphrey Treble-Clef, who believes that our modern instruments are the descendants of giant, dinosaur-like creatures.
