Theatre Bristol Begins PLAYtime in the ARTspace

Theatre Bristol announces a new production for its youngest audience members and their caregivers, “PLAYtime in the ARTspace,” Saturday mornings at 506 State Street, Bristol, Tennessee. PLAYtime in the ARTspace introduces young children ages 0 to 5 to live performances created just for them, provides unique parent-child together time, and offers parents and caregivers an opportunity to connect.

PLAYtime in the ARTspace doors open Saturdays at 9 a.m.and families are welcome to drop in, enjoy the show, and visit until 10 a.m.Attendees can meet other parents and caregivers while children enjoy live performances of classic songs, nursery rhymes, lullabies, laughs, and skits, as well as interact, learn, and experience special surprises.

PLAYtime partners Bristol Bagel & Bakery powers the morning with coffee and bagels, and Bristol’s Promise Parenting Sweet / Parenting Educator Network shares great Prime Your Parenting resources. Admission at the door is $5 per child, $8 for two siblings, and the family maximum is $10. Details are also available at www.TheatreBristol.org.

PLAYtime in the ARTspace is a part of Theatre Bristol’s 2022 Season of comedies, dramasand musicals, including Shakespeare’s "Twelfth Night," River’s Way’s "Three Times Three," "Jack and the Giant Beanstalk," "The Sound of Music,""To Kill a Mockingbird"and "Elf The Musical"and the Cathy DeCaterina School of Theatre Arts classes, children’s camps, and workshops. Theatre Bristol is a 57-year-old nonprofit community theater in downtown Bristol, and the ARTspace is its 100-seat blackbox performance space.
