Fischman Gallery presents "Through Lines," an exhibition showcasing the evocative work of mother-daughter artist duo, Carla Taylor and Ranee Taylor. Carla Taylor’s multifaceted artistry spans printmaking, ceramics, textilesand more, delving into the deeply personal themes of motherhood, femininity, protection, joyand sorrow. Ranee Taylor’s multi-media artwork journeys through personal mythology, using nature and symbols as metaphors.
"Through Lines" is on view at Fischman Gallery from Nov.1-30. The public is invited to attend the opening reception Nov. 1 from 6:30-9 p.m., where the artists will be present to discuss their work.
Fischman Gallery, 133 N Commerce Street, Johnson City, Tennessee, is free and open to the public, and is accessible from the Commerce Street entrance to Atelier 133. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Thursdayand Friday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The gallery is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
