• SEPT. 3-7:Storytelling Live is held at the International Storytelling Center, Jonesborough, Tenn. Matinee performances are at 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. This week’s featured storyteller isTim Lowry. Lowry mixes personal narratives, folk tales and American history with a distinctively Southern flavor. His “seersucker style” earned an Oracle Award from the National Storytelling Network and Artist of the Year from Azalea Magazine.
