JOHNSON CITY, TENN.– The ETSU Martin Center for the Arts announces the success of the 49 Winchester Benefit Concert held Nov. 30, to support relief efforts for Hurricane Helene. The sold-out event raised an astounding $35,323.84 for Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, providing critical assistance to those impacted by the devastating storm in East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Southwest Virginia.
This evening of music and generosity brought together community members, music loversand supporters from across the region. In addition to the in-person audience, livestream tickets offered throughNugs.netallowed fans to join the cause from anywhere, further contributing to the success of the fundraiser.
“This concert was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community,” said Jennifer Clements, executive director of the ETSU Martin Center. “49 Winchester’s performance was truly inspiring. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this event. Because of the overwhelming support, we are able to make a profound impact on so many lives within our community.”
Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, which serves eight counties in the region, will use the funds raised to provide food and essential resources to individuals and families affected by Hurricane Helene.
