MARION, VA- The Lincoln Theatre hosts Zach Rushing June 21 at 7:30 p.m. and The Piano Men June 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Comedian Zach Rushing

Saddle up for a night of knee-slapping fun at The Lincoln Theatre with comedians Zach Rushing and Cledus T. Judd Saturday, June 21 at 7:30 p.m. Rushing is eager to bring his Takin’ The Country Back Tour to Southwest Virginia’s Finest Showplace, where guests can expect torevel in his filter-free personality and down-home storytelling. The South Mississippi native hasamassed more than 6 million followers across Facebook, TikTok, YouTubeand Instagram.

A passionate philanthropist, Rushing ensures that a portion of his tour proceeds are donated tocauses near and dear to his heart, including Triple B Outdoors, feeding U.S. Veterans, andbuying presents for child cancer patients in the hospital during the holidays.

Joining Rushing as an opening act is Judd, known as country music’s“Weird Al” Yankovic. Judd is most popular for his parodies of country songs.

Tickets are $43 to $63 including fees, depending on seat selection.

Pride Chats

The Lincoln Theatre serves as a hub for community engagement and inclusivity. On Monday, June 24, Mount Rogers Community Services continues its series of Pride Chats. This gathering aims to foster mutual understanding and respect for all through authentic interactions and relationship building. Join the group discussion at 5:30 p.m. and make impactful, lasting connections. Meetings occur regularly at The Lincoln Theatre on the last Monday of each month.

Film: Golden Oldies and Film Freaks

Screening the second Tuesday of each month, the Lincoln Theatre’s Golden Oldies series features a free classic film. Swing by the revived movie palace on Tuesday, June 11at 11a.m. and take a walk down memory lane. No registration is required. Film Freaks is an all-inclusive, free film event occurring on the first Fridays of each month at 7 p.m.This year, Film Freaks returns to the Lincoln Theatre as an exploration of global cinema. Each film features a brief pre-screening lecture and a post-screening group discussion. In honor of Pride Month, June’s film unwraps queer coding in British cinema. Join the group Friday, June 7 and become a certified film freak.

Located in the heart of Marion’s vibrant downtown district, The Lincoln Theatre is a restored theaterin the Mayan Revival style, offering year-round entertainment, including live music, comedy events, diversity awareness programs, classic & independent film series, youth artistic camps, theatrical performancesand so much more.
