Clintwood, VA–In her unassuming yet beguiling way,Amber Rubarthdraws listeners into a worldwhere wonder and high-mindedconcepts weave into a poetic tapestry.The singer-songwriter has performed on hundreds ofstages around the world, from herearly days opening for a Texas flea circus, to performingan original duet with Jason Mrazat Carnegie Hall, to full orchestralarrangements of her songs with theIthaca Chamber Orchestra.

Rubarth has performed her music far and wide, touring solo across South Africa, Europe, Japanand all throughout America with what Acoustic Guitar Magazine hails her “unique gift of knocking down walls with songs so strong they sound like classics from another era.” Rubarth moves fluidlybetween genres, creating a uniquepalette of instrumentation for what best serves each song. This fluidity andcuriosity has led to her being hand-picked to open for many diverse artistsincluding Emmylou Harris, KennyLoggins, Richie Havens, Dr. RalphStanley and Loudon Wainwright III.
