Artisan Conference held

April 25–27, 2024 @ Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace

The inaugural Southwest Virginia Artisan Conference, presented by ‘Round the Mountain Artisan Network, a gathering that pays homage to the craftsmanship rooted in the Appalachian region, is coming to the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace in Abingdon, Virginia, April 25-27.

Over three days, artisans from throughout the region enjoy insightful discussions, workshops, and unique networking opportunities. A reception takes place Thursday, April 25, and welcoming ceremonies are held Friday, April 26, at 9 a.m.

One of the region’s premier artists, Jason Flack of Johnson City, Tennessee, is the keynote speaker on Friday. He discusses arts in Appalachia and the role of artists in communities.

Tickets for the SWVA Artisan Conference are general admission tickets are$130, with a discounted rate of $100 for RTM members.

Additionally, the Early Bird Bundle for the conference and ‘Round the Mountain an RTM for $95, while pricing after March 26 for the conference and membership will be $105.
