• APRIL 9-12:Friends of the Bristol Public Library, Bristol, Va., conducts abook sale.The sale on Thursday is from 5-8 p.m. for members only. Memberships are $10 for individuals and $15 for families. Applications or renewals for membership are accepted at the door on Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday hours are 2-4:30 p.m. Book prices range from .50 to $3 or as marked. Collect a bagful of books for $5 on Sunday.
