• JULY 12:Essential Darkroom Techniques workshopis held at William King Museum of Art, Abingdon, Va., from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Morgan Fordleads the workshop. Third in a six-session series,Essential Darkroom Techniquesintroduces students to the analog printing process in the darkroom. Students use their developed black and white film to make photographic prints using enlargers and traditional darkroom chemistry.Students explore different darkroom techniques for enlarging photographs and then experience the magic of watching the prints come to life in the darkroom. This class allows time for 1 on 1 time with the instructor to ask any questions and receive feedback on your work.All supplies are provided, except for 35mm film camera and B&W film.
