• JUNE 28:The Johnson County Center for the Arts’ Plein Air Painting Eventis held in Mountain City, Tenn. Artists may paint in Garden Tour gardens or downtown Mountain City. Artists sign in between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Entry fee is $25. All paintings must be turned in by 4:30 p.m. Plein Air show begins July 4. Cash prizes. www.jocoartcenter.org
