January 31 – February 11, 2023 @ August Muse
Registration is open for spring art classes beginning Feb.11, at August Muse. Nicole Hymowitzleads two art classes. For six weeks on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to12:30 p.m. young students ages 5-10 explore different types of art and artists and create their own works. For eight weeks on Saturdaysfrom 1-3p.m. students ages 10 and up explore sculpture without clay and create their own works. Classes end with an art showing at August Muse,Elizabethton, Tennessee.
Hymowitz is an artist and teacher. She grew up learning from her grandfather, also an artist, in Germany. Her formal art training was at Parson School of Design in New York where she received her BFA.
