Rose Center & Council for the Arts welcomes acclaimed singer-songwriterShayla McDanielas part of the 2026Live at Rose Centerperformance series. The concert takes place Friday,Jan. 16, withdoors opening at 6:30 p.m.and theshow beginning at 7p.m.
According to her artist statement, McDaniel delivers a vibrant indie pop/rock performance filled with soulful vocals, honest storytellingand groove-driven instrumentation that resonates with listeners of all backgrounds. Crafted for deep feelers and late-night thinkers, her music offers connection and comfort, with songs featured on MTV, Disney+, The CWand more. This year marksRose Center’s 50th Anniversary, and in celebration of five decades of arts, cultureand community, this performance will befree and open to the public. This is made possible in part through a grant from East Tennessee Foundation. As a thank-you to the community for its continued support and in keeping with Rose Center’s mission to sustain meaningful art and cultural programming, everyone is invited to join an evening of live music, fellowshipand celebration.
