• DEC. 1:Soups and Songsis held at McKinney Center, Jonesborough, Tenn., at 6 p.m. Guests receive a dinner of soup, salad, bread and cookies. After, they enjoy a special version of the Radio Show featuring holiday carols, festive songs and heartwarming stories. Musical acts this year include the Jonesborough Novelty Band, violinist Chloe Suarez and the Thankful Baptist Church Mass Choir. $35.
