•DEADLINE FEB. 20:The True Art Showcase and Children’s Contestseeks entries for the exhibit to be held at the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park, Big Stone Gap, Va. Limit submissions to four pieces per artist. For a participation form, email dorotha.cole@dcr.virginia.gov or all 276-523-1322. To enter the student art competition, students in grades K-12 should create an entry portraying Southwest Virginia’s wildlife or natural surroundings.
