• OCT 20:An Intro to Stained Glass: Glass Birdsworkshop is held at The Inventor Center, Kingsport, Tenn., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Choose from an assortment of glass colors, textures and transparencies to completely customize it into a one-of-a-kind piece. Learn how to cut glass, grid it to fit a pattern, apply copper foil and solder it together. This is a beginner’s class. Wear close-toed shoes and natural fibers. Long hair should be pulled back.
