The Arts Depot, Abingdon, Virginia, is seeking proposals for a show in the Spotlight Gallery for the 2021 season. Proposals are due by noon May 30 and are juried in June. All media is eligible. The Spotlight Gallery offers 97 running feet of wall space and a 12-foot ceiling.
Submissions must consist of your own original recent work and include a $20 non-refundable proposal fee.
Proposals should include artist’s résumé and biographical information, a written proposal or statement to include type or theme of show and type of media, choices of show dates and jump drive of digital images of work (images may also be emailed to abingdonartsdepot@eva.org). The jump drive should include a minimum of six (maximum of 12) images. Three-dimensional objects should have two views from different angles (counts as one image).
Tentative show dates include Jan. 2-Feb. 20, Feb. 24-April 10, April 14-June 5, June 8-July 16, Aug. 4-Sept. 18 and Sept. 22-Nov. 13.
