Denise Howard has a new juvenile fiction book out, "The Not So Great Escape."
Howard resides in Virginia, and works with children who have emotional issues. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism, and a Master's degree in educational psychology and counselor education, both from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tenn., her former home. She has two children and three grandchildren.
"I wrote the story for a fiction writing course during my journalism degree," she says. "It is a fictional story about a horse I had as a child. My horse helps a pony escape a cruel master, though he is reluctant to leave his home and friend."
The book is available on Amazon as a paperback and for Kindle.
