Ann Goodpasture
A valuable member of the A! Magazine team of volunteers has relocated to Asheville, N.C.
Ann McIver Goodpasture has served as the volunteer advertising director for A! Magazine for the last seven years. Her commitment, professionalism, volunteer ethic, and hard work will be difficult to replace. She sold ads and managed ad sales by other team members. In addition, she proofread the text and page layouts and helped deliver stacks of printed magazines.
She has served on the board of directors of Arts Alliance Mountain Empire (AAME), publisher of A! Magazine, and was a member of the AAME Finance Committee and the A! Magazine Strategic Planning Committee. Ann also served on the boards of Voices of the Mountains, the Bristol Music Club and the Carolinas Concert Association in Charlotte, N.C. She currently serves on the board of The Paramount Chamber Players.
Ann and her husband, Joe, have returned to North Carolina where they published a homes and gardens magazine and she was an ad agency/public relations firm partner. They are now partners in a family-operated publishing company that researches and writes histories of companies and organizations.
The Goodpastures have expanded their commemorative book business, and they relocated to the Asheville area to be closer to the designers and writers with whom they work.
